We know that traveling single can be so expensive; we have therefore put a stay together for you, if you are coming on your own, that will make it more affordable and still enable you to get out and about and see the sites.

Day 1 Siem Reap - Arrival
You will be met by a Journeys Within representative and taken to Journeys Within Bed & Breakfast where you will meet your host Brandon Ross.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in the garden, cool off in the swimming pool or if you have the energy, take a trip down town and walk around the local market.

Day 2 Siem Reap - Angkor Wat and Village Tour
This morning head to Angkor Wat in a tuk tuk with your guide. Explore this majestic temple throughout the morning while it is still cool and has fewer tourists. Also visit Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei, two of the more unique temples in the complex. Return to Journeys Within for lunch and a nap.
Set out for our Journeys Within Village Tour. Our village guide will take you to his village showing you rice paddies and typical homes along the way. At his village enjoy a fresh coconut drink and meet his family and neighbors. Walk from here to West Baray Lake where you can take a local boat to an island with some picturesque ancient Khmer ruins. Return to shore where your car will be waiting for you. From here head to Pua District and visit the Artisans de Angkor silk farm where many local women are trained in the art of silk weaving.
Head into town to enjoy a traditional buffet dinner and dance show in the evening.

Day 3 Siem Reap - Angkor Thom
After breakfast head to Angkor Thom, the famous walled city and see the many temples within its borders, including the fascinating Bayon temple with its many magnificent faces smiling out. Walk between the temples as your guide shows you detailed reliefs and hidden wonders.
Enjoy lunch at Khmer Kitchen, a restaurant specializing in traditional Khmer dishes.
Spend the afternoon relaxing in the garden, cool off in the swimming pool or if you have the energy, take a trip down town and walk around the local market.
In the late afternoon visit the Wat Thmei Pagoda School sponsored by Journeys Within and benefiting disadvantaged children. Meet the children and help them practice their English.

Day 4 Siem Reap - Rolous Group and Tonle Sap
Visit the Rolous Group, a group of Angkorean temples 15 minutes outside of Siem Reap in a beautiful area.
Enjoy lunch at Journeys Within Bed & Breakfast.
After a rest or swim drive through rural Cambodia to the Tonle Sap Lake where you will take a boat ride to visit the floating village and a Cambodian fish farm. Climb Phnom Krom and see the ancient ruins high on the hill and watch the sun set over the miles and miles of rice paddies and the Tonle Sap.

Day 5 Siem Reap - Market
Take a walk around the Old Market where the locals and tourists shop side by side. Then pay a visit to Artisans de Angkor to see their workshop in town. Here you will be taken on a short tour to see the students learning the skills needed to produce works of art in a variety of different materials before visiting their beautifully displayed shop.
Choose a restaurant in town for lunch before returning to Journeys Within.
Spend the afternoon at your leisure.
